Something I’m going to try my hand at here is an occasional spotlight post on an artist I’ve found that I’d like others to discover as well.
My first artist is Stanley Lau from Singapore.
His profile over at Deviant Art is as follows:
Born and bred in Hong Kong, the multifaceted Stanley wears different hats as an illustrator, designer, concept artist, creative director and co-founder of Imaginary Friends Studios — a world acclaimed digital art studio that produces high quality artworks for the likes of Capcom, DC Comics, Square Enix and other giants in the entertainment and gaming industry. Formally trained in graphic design and advertising, Stanley’s art is imbued with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual fluidity. It is a perfect blend of eastern and western art styles. Better known by his handle Artgerm, Stanley’s art continues to infect and inspire new generations of artists and his ever-growing fan base around the world. Recently, Stanley was contracted by Capcom to provide new character artwork for the upcoming releases of Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition.
Here are a couple samples of his work. His Deviant Art page will follow the images.

New Galleries from other artists are being added.
It’s been so long since I updated this site (almost three years) Time to change that.
I’ve also started a Legend of Zelda collectibles site, www.zeldacollectibles.com if you’re into that game series at all.
I’ve done very little digital art over the past three years other than posters and other band artwork, which I’ll post a gallery of soon enough. I’ve since left that band and have finished two paintings and another is in process.
The finished one – is a gnome from World of Warcraft, originally a sketch I had drawn when I first started playing that game back in 2004, and finally decided to paint it.
The second one isn’t quite finished, but is Link on Epona from The Legend of Zelda – here’s an in progress image of it.
Link and Epona(Incomplete)
Also, Ganon, from The Legend of Zelda:
Ganon – Ocarina of Time
That’s all for now.
Earlier this year, I joined the band, Matter of Chance out of Dayton, Ohio.
I would love it if those of you still visiting this site would take a moment, check out my band, follow us on Facebook, tell your friends and let me know what you think of the music.
Matter of Chance
We just released an album, Groove Control, which will be available for online purchase very soon.
All of my free time for artwork has been dedicated exclusively to posters for the band and a website.
Again, please check it out if you can.
Not enough time lately for art which is disappointing
I have been building cigar box guitars. Please check out www.threeforksguitars.com
And a redo:
Some dirty thief has ripped off my 404, which I created back in 2002 and using it on their site.
I hate you dirty thief.
